    The University of Alaska Foundation has selected Mark Herrmann as recipient of the 2019 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence. Herrmann is dean of ÁùºÏ²Ê»ãF's School of Management and a faculty member for more than 25 years. The Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence is the Foundation's most prestigious award.

  • Alaska author Linda Schandelmeier wins national award

    Alaska author and ÁùºÏ²Ê»ãF graduate Linda Schandelmeier has won the 2019 WILLA Literary Award for her book of poems "Coming Out of Nowhere," published in 2018 by the University of Alaska Press. This nationally recognized award honors the best each year in literature, featuring women's or girls' stories set in the West.
