ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã Government Relations connects our university to members of Congress, the executive branch, and national education organizations. As the world’s leading arctic research institution, ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã engages in numerous partnerships with federal research agencies and the military. To maintain the university's pre-eminence in arctic research, we inform policymakers about ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã’s role as an engine for scientific discovery and innovation. We work closely with Alaska’s congressional delegation to represent ÁùºÏ²Ê»ã’s funding interests and policy goals in Washington D.C.
