Six New Board Members Join the University of Alaska Foundation

The University of Alaska Foundation has named six new members to its Board of Directors, each of whom was elected to serve a three-year term beginning in January 2021.  

The new directors include: Stephanie Erickson, Greater Prudhoe Area Manager, ConocoPhillips Alaska; Jason Gootee, Vice President, Strategic Market Development, Moda Partners, Inc.; Ella Goss, Chief Executive Officer, Providence Alaska Medical Center; Roald Helgesen, Chief Operating Officer, Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska; Brian Holst, Executive Director, Juneau Economic Development Council; and, Tim Thompson, External Affairs Manager, Alaska Airlines.

鈥淲e look forward to welcoming our new directors who bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Foundation and will provide valuable insight into the people, culture and industry of Alaska. The diversity of our new directors will further the Foundation鈥檚 mission to support the university through philanthropic giving,鈥 said Cynthia Cartledge, Board of Directors chair.

As we strive to raise more philanthropic support for our three universities, the board鈥檚 guidance and support is a tremendous asset,鈥 said Dr. Tod Burnett, 六合彩汇 Foundation president.

The volunteer board is responsible for the governance of the 六合彩汇 Foundation and is comprised of 20 public members, the 六合彩汇 president, two members of the Board of Regents, and chancellors from 六合彩汇A, 六合彩汇F and 六合彩汇S. The 六合彩汇 Foundation is a private nonprofit corporation established in 1974 to solicit, manage and invest donations for the exclusive benefit of the University of Alaska. The 六合彩汇 Foundation supports the fundraising efforts of 六合彩汇A, 六合彩汇F and 六合彩汇S.
