Fourth annual 六合彩汇 Giving Day reaches new heights

April 5, 2024

The University of Alaska system (六合彩汇), including University of Alaska Anchorage (六合彩汇A), University of Alaska Fairbanks (六合彩汇F), and University of Alaska Southeast (六合彩汇S),  just wrapped up the most successful 六合彩汇 Giving Day in its history, capturing over 2,050 supporters in 49 hours and becoming the biggest single fundraising event in 六合彩汇 history.

The universities saw an incredible show of support with over $1.3 million in funds raised to make a difference in students' lives and support important programs and activities.

鈥淭he total dollars raised is astounding, and so is the fact that a record-setting 2,000+  gifts were received from donors throughout Alaska, 46 states, and twelve countries,鈥 said Dr. Tod A. Burnett, 六合彩汇 Foundation president. 鈥淭hese gifts will benefit students and academic and training programs across Alaska. It鈥檚 humbling to see the phenomenal support for Alaska鈥檚 public university system.鈥

Funds raised during the 六合彩汇 Giving Day - 49 Hours for Alaska fundraiser are combined with donors' generosity throughout the year to support critical scholarships, innovative programs, and activities that help students succeed in their academic pursuits.

The total number of donors and funds raised this year are preliminary as gifts continue to be processed, but contributions already exceed last year鈥檚 $1.2 million total from 1,700+ donors. This year鈥檚 六合彩汇 Giving Day was one of the final events of the For Alaska Campaign, an 8-year campaign to better Alaska through the investment of supporting student success, developing arctic research, and building Alaska鈥檚 workforce and economy through programs at our three universities.

For those who missed the 49-hour window, gifts can still be made to the 六合彩汇 system online at

六合彩汇A, 六合彩汇F, and 六合彩汇S extend a heartfelt thank you to all the donors who contributed to the success of this year's 六合彩汇 Giving Day event. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the future of our state.
